Oops, where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tammy Doering, aka, The Mud Queen. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and the 'mad scientist' (as my family fondly calls me), here at Aviv Wellnessceuticals, located in Anniston, Alabama. (Roll Tide!)

I am a self-taught chemist, Manicurist Instructor and Licensed Barber. I began my health journey in 1998 in an effort to help my severe health issues. I'll condense my 20+ year journey into a few paragraphs so you won't get bored!

Here's the short-n-sweet version of my 'Why I Do This':

Personal Health History:

At age 18 began a 16 year battle with Seborrheaic Psoriasis. 1995, lost all 10 fingernails to illegal use of MMA (Methyl methacrylate). 1997, diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. 1998 all 10 toes diagnosed with fungal infection.

As if that weren't enough, my skin looked and felt like old, dried up shoe leather. I was what I called, 'Southern Fried Chicken'. I baked in sunbeds and slathered Baby Oil and Iodine on my skin while frying in the hot Alabama sun on a large reflective mat as often as I could.

By age 34, I was a total basket case. I was depressed, fat, frumpy and dumpy (I had gained over 35 lbs in the course of 6 months due to the medications I was on), I felt like a leper, an unfit mother, pathetic business owner and needless to say, NOT a sexy, vibrant and vivacious wife full of energy and happy with life.

I experienced suicidal thoughts frequently. I felt as if I had no hope or a future. In my prayer time I  begged God to either take me home or show me a way to look and feel better, naturally. the Bible verse Ezekiel 47:12b came to mind - "Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing." (NIV)

I began learning about medicinal properties of herbs as well as hydrating oils, nourishing butters and the amazing benefits of aromatherapy and using essential oils instead of synthetic fragrances.

One day in my research (using dial-up internet access and an old pc, yeah, I'm older than the internet!) I came across medical documentation published on the use of Dead Sea Salts and Mud for successful healing of psoriasis issues for patients at the Dead Sea.

I became my own 'guinea pig' and began mixing and blending Dead Sea ingredients and applying them to my scalp and body. Over the course of 8 weeks, not only did my scalp and neck clear up completely and my hair was healthier than it had ever been, but my fingernails grew back and I was successfully coping with the Fibromyalgia without the use of the heavy medications the doctors had me on. Oh, and I had 10 healthy toenails, too!

My skin became soft, supple and velvety smooth. I eradicated the fine lines, crows feet and smokers lips (prune lips, pickle pucker - take your pick) on my face. I took off 5-10 years of premature aging. Even the nurse at my OB/GYN office asked me if I had had a face lift since my last visit! I laughed and told her it was my Dead Sea Mud.

In 2008 I became aware of fillers and pesticides being put into Dead Sea Mud and the salts were being stripped of vital minerals in order to be used for fertilizer. I traveled to Israel and Jordan in search of the purest, unadulterated Dead Sea Ingredients. We import the purest Dead Sea Ingredients on the market. We even have our own USDA Soil Permit which validates the quality of our Dead Sea Mud & Clay.

In 2017 I began learning about the amazing power of Hemp Flower Extract (CBD Oil) and began my journey to find the purest and highest quality oil I could find. I searched Canada, California, Colorado and came up with some good products, but not THE BEST. In September 2018 I found what I was searching for.  Organic Practices, Heritage Seed grown, Non-GMO, No Cloning, No Herbicides, Pesticides or Fungicides, Third-Party Tested and 80mg of Hemp Flower Extract per Milliliter in Virgin Organic Hemp Seed Oil. FYI - I'm happy to report that Hemp Flower Extract (CBD Oil) is now legal in All 50 United States!
